Terms of Use

These terms apply to the PureStatus apps for Android and iPhone and to purestatus.app, provided by DamTech Designs (“we”, “us”). By using PureStatus or buying a subscription you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. The Russian-language edition, Чистый Статус, has its own terms.

The service

PureStatus prepares videos and photos for WhatsApp Status. It compresses them to full HD, splits long videos into status-length parts, turns photos into short videos and lets you add text, stickers and music. It then delivers the result to your own WhatsApp chat through the WhatsApp Business API. It also offers optional AI Studio tools.

PureStatus is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. Delivery depends on WhatsApp's services and rules, which can change and which we don't control. PureStatus keeps the quality of your original but can't add detail that isn't there.

Free use

The core features are free and don't need a subscription. The free version shows ads, adds a small watermark, and includes a number of free deliveries that depends on your country. We may change these limits over time.

Premium, Compress Pass and tokens

  • Premium is an optional subscription. It removes watermarks and ads, gives faster HD compression, unlocks 60-second parts and includes monthly AI Studio tokens, as described in the app at the time you subscribe.
  • Compress Pass is an optional subscription that keeps WhatsApp delivery going after the free deliveries for your country are used.
  • Token packs are one-time purchases of AI Studio tokens. Tokens are used up as you generate, have no cash value and can't be transferred. Monthly Premium tokens follow the plan shown in the app.

Billing, renewal and cancellation

  • Subscriptions may be offered weekly, monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and can vary by country.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play account or Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
  • If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund unused parts of a period. Refund requests are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies, and your rights under consumer law are not affected.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • If a price changes, you'll be told in advance as Google Play or Apple require, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Subscriptions are personal and can't be transferred or shared.

Your content

You keep all rights to the media you use. You confirm you have the right to use it and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Don't use PureStatus for spam, harassment or illegal, sexual, hateful or violent content. We may suspend delivery or AI Studio for numbers that misuse the service.

AI Studio

AI results are generated automatically and can be inaccurate or unexpected. Check them before you share them. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, and don't use AI Studio to impersonate, deceive or harm anyone. Requests that break these rules may be refused, and tokens used on them may not be returned.

Our app

PureStatus, its design, code, stickers, music library and branding belong to DamTech Designs or its licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer it, or try to get around its limits.

Changes to the service

We're always improving PureStatus, so we may change, add or remove features, including free limits and the content of Premium, and we may discontinue a feature at any time. We'll update these terms when we do and change the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Availability and liability

We work to keep PureStatus running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. PureStatus is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, DamTech Designs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for content you choose to send, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

If you downloaded PureStatus from the App Store

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and DamTech Designs, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to it, its content or its use. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
